Event Description:

Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County - Resource Fair

 

The November Resource Fair will connect community members with local organizations and service providers offering a variety of resources and support. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore services, receive professional headshots, and participate in interactive interview and AI resume-building workshops designed to strengthen employment skills.

 

Available resources and services include:

• 💼 Employment & Workforce Development: Job training, career resources, and workforce development services.
• 📝 Interview & Resume Workshops: 15-minute interactive sessions covering interview preparation, the STAR method, and AI-assisted resume building.
• 🏠 Housing Assistance: Emergency housing and supportive services.
• 🩺 Health & Wellness: Free medical, behavioral health, healthcare coverage, and WIC services.
• ⚖️ Legal & Community Services: Legal assistance, child support services, and voter registration information.
• 👔 Professional Support: Professional headshots and clothing resources.
• 📱 Additional Resources: Free government phones, hygiene supplies, diapers, food assistance, and family support services.
