Know Your Rights | Immigration Workshop
Event Description:
Learn about benefits and services if you and your family were granted asylum status. The orientation is free of cost and confidential for attendees. The orientation is for persons recently granted Asylum status. The webinar takes place the last* Thursday of the month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
They will cover several topics for new asylees including how to navigate social services, educational resources, and information on:
* Important documents
* Nutritional and food programs
* Help with healthcare
* Right to work
* Next steps in immigration case
* Held on the last Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., except November and December. Register for ONLY one session. All sessions present the same material.
